An archetypal pool renovation became the “jewel in the crown” of this cozy outdoor living quarter.
The dated, decaying pool and surrounds were in dire need of remediation and renewal, at odds with the understated elegance of the property and unbefitting the stunning harbor vista.
Works began with the removal of the old coping and tiles of the surround, then the waterline tile, pebblecrete pool interior, right back to the original concrete pool substrate. After new render and waterproofing, a final layer of stunning Everglade 25x25mm glass mosaic tile was laid.
New coping tile and surrounds topped it off to be highlighted with stylish pool mood lighting.
For structural integrity, the dilapidated stone retaining was removed and a new concrete foundation and brick retaining installed then finished with neutral tones of Broma stone cladding. Finally, the surrounding planting beds were remediated and replenished with a healthy balance of Blueberry Ash and Buxus planting.
Dan and his team did a fantastic job renovating and updating our pool and surrounding area.
Dan was always highly attentive and fully involved throughout.
He and his team were truly professional and a pleasure to work with.
We would most definitely use them again.
