“We want a Resort Pool!”…… the brief from Lee and Gayle was resounding.

Faced with crumbling pebblecrete from a bygone era, uneven discoloured pavers and decaying fencing this disheartening image was underpinned by the solid bones of a well built pool.

Firstly, the complete surrounds were stripped back to the sub base – paving, old leaning walls, fencing, pool housing and grass areas all removed, revealing the strength of the underlying canvas and true potential of the site, with it’s delightful mature palms to highlight.

Careful grading of the base and wise placement of strip drains ensures perfect drainage no matter how severe the splashing or deluge. Then Silver Travertine paving laid in French pattern throughout, including entry stairs, landing and coping tile, topped with azure waterline mosaic.
At last, the ‘piece de resistance’, the waterside pergola providing shade and shelter along with
easy care, maintenance-free “weathered stone” Futurewood decking.

Brick render curved retaining supports this idyllic picture, highlighting the feature palm and colourful, raised planting beds. Frameless glass pool fencing and spaced Futurewood batten boundary fencing, secured by three contrasting black rails provides security, privacy and light.
Pool equipment was discretely relocated, concealed in a bespoke acoustic colourbond housing.

Let the party begin….

We highly recommend Greenstone to anyone thinking of doing a pool renovation.

From the onset Dan has been amazing with detailed quotes, information and ideas that we hadn’t thought of! The communication was spot on with our own WhatsApp group between us and Steve and any queries were answered promptly! All of the tradesmen on site were polite and left the area tidy at the end of each day and having their own portaloo was convenient for all!!

The before and after photos speak for themselves,
and we are thrilled with the results and continue to receive lots of compliments!
We asked for a ‘Resort Pool’ and Dan and his team certainly delivered!
