DAVIDSON – STAGE 2

A complete renewal of the pool, surrounds, rear yard, elevated deck and house facade make up the second stage of this significant project. The pool and surrounds were in desperate need of upgrade to a contemporary style and standard so total renovation including limestone paver surround, full mosaic liner, spotted gum decking, pole fencing, glazing, lighting, planter boxes and poolside shower complete the picture – against a stunning elevated backdrop.

The cluttered, uneven rear yard was transformed by removing a large dilapidated deck and overgrowth, then releveled to create an open and welcoming area comprising multiple lifestyle zones of dining, barbeque, lawn and play spaces. The spotted gum decking gracefully linking indoor to outdoor in a natural flow.

New sandstone planter beds surround the yard to complement the natural sandstone outcrops across the property. The curve of an off form concrete bench seat gives a contemporary slant that blends perfectly while providing abundant seating for those outdoor celebrations. Planting including a range of citrus plus extensive outdoor lighting to cover every mood and event, even in the pool, making this the ideal entertaining and relaxing space.

A full rebuild of the elevated deck off the upper living dining area included extending the deck area out to become an additional integrated indoor outdoor zone that captures the magnificent panoramic views amongst the tree tops. Finally, Greenstone undertook a full facade facelift by rendering the whole home, turning a dated 70’s look into a clean truly contemporary styling.
